Abstract
The rapid development in digital technologies has a great impact on different activities related to HRM, changing its nature from a supporting activity to a success factor for organizations. This study aims to critically examine the influence of digital transformation on HR activities, especially related to the implementation of digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, HR analytics, and electronic HR management systems. The research approach adopted in this study was conceptual, relying on secondary data to critically assess different HR activities. This study has revealed how digital technologies play a vital role in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making, along with a positive impact on the quality of employees’ experience, while there are many challenges related to data privacy, ethical issues, technological resistance, and digital competencies among HR staff. The results indicate that although there are significant strategic benefits to be gained through digital HR, its successful implementation is a matter of striking a balance between technological innovation and humanistic values, ethics, and skill development. The paper concludes that the future of HR is to use technology while keeping the human element at the core of organizational management.
