Guidelines for Authors

The Editorial Process

Overview:

A manuscript submitted to Management Stream undergoes a structured review to ensure quality, originality, and relevance.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. The corresponding author submits the manuscript to the journal, marking the start of the evaluation process.
  2. The editor conducts an initial review to ensure the paper fits the journal’s scope, follows submission guidelines, and passes the similarity check.
  3. Suitable reviewers are identified and invited based on their expertise, experience, and availability.
  4. Reviewers carefully assess the manuscript’s originality, methodology, clarity, and ethical standards, providing detailed feedback and recommendations.
  5. The editor studies all review reports, evaluates differing opinions if any, and forms an overall assessment of the paper.
  6. Authors receive reviewer comments, revise their manuscript accordingly, and resubmit it for further review or final consideration.
  7. Based on the revised version and reviewer feedback, the editor makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection.
  8. Accepted papers enter the production stage for formatting, proofreading, and final publication preparation.
  9. The published article is shared widely, and authors are encouraged to promote their work within the academic and research community.

Note

The entire submission-to-publication process, including sending and receiving proofs, is completed online.

Processes for Appeals

Overview:

Authors have the right to appeal if they believe the editorial board wrongly rejected their manuscript.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Authors should email the editorial office, explaining the reason for the appeal in detail.
  2. The editorial office will acknowledge the appeal and investigate it in an unbiased manner.
  3. The appeal process takes approximately 4–6 weeks.
  4. During the appeal, the manuscript must not be submitted to other journals.
  5. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
  6. Second appeal shall not be considered.

Note

Ensure all communications regarding appeals are clear and complete, as the decision is final after one appeal.

Anti-Plagiarism Policy

Overview:

Plagiarism is a serious offence and an illegal act of copying, and the Management Stream follows a strict policy to ensure all submissions are original and credible.

Key Points:

  1. Plagiarism includes:
    • Copying and pasting from the Internet and posting somewhere else without proper citation.
    • Putting your name on another person’s essay or project.
    • Copying exact wording from another person’s text.
    • Using another person’s photo, diagram, tables, sounds, or ideas without proper citation.
    • Presenting research in your own words without providing references.
    • Purchasing another person’s text and using it as your own.
    • Presenting ideas in the same format and order as your research source.
  2. All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check using commercially available software.
  3. Depending on the extent of similarity, authors may be asked to address minor duplication or similarity with previously published work.
  4. If plagiarism is detected after publication:
    • The journal investigates
    • Authors' institutions and funding bodies are notified
    • The plagiarized article may be retracted

Manuscript Submission

Submission of this manuscript to the Management Stream confirms that the work is original, has not been published or submitted elsewhere, and has been approved by all co-authors and relevant institutional authorities. The publisher bears no legal responsibility for any claims arising from the content.

Peer Review

Overview:

Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication in the Management Stream undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure quality and credibility.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Each manuscript is sent to two or more expert reviewers.
  2. The double-blind review ensures that authors and reviewers are unaware of each other’s identities.
  3. A member of the editorial team oversees the manuscript, evaluates reviewer comments, and makes the final decision.
  4. Reviewer’s comments and suggestions (acceptance, rejection, or amendments) are communicated to the corresponding author.
  5. Revised manuscripts must include:
    • The referees' remarks
    • Point-by-point clarifications at the beginning of the revised file
    • All changes marked (underlined or colored text)

Note

Follow the reviewers' comments carefully — revisions must be submitted online using the same process as the initial submission.

Acceptance & Publication

Overview:

Once a manuscript meets all editorial requirements, it moves toward final acceptance and publication.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Confirmation of Acceptance:
    • Authors are notified once all reviewer comments have been addressed and required changes implemented.
    • The corresponding author receives confirmation via email.
  2. Publication:
    • After final corrections, approved articles are uploaded to the website and included in the current issue.

Note

Ensure all corrections are completed promptly to avoid delays in publication.
