Ethics and Policy

The Management Stream is dedicated to promoting authentic, ethical, and high-quality research in management and allied disciplines. The Journal upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and expects all contributors to maintain honesty, transparency, and accountability in their scholarly work.

All authors submitting manuscripts to management stream must read and understand this Ethics Policy before submission. Any unethical behaviour—such as plagiarism, falsification, data manipulation, or duplicate submission—will lead to rejection of the manuscript and may result in restrictions on future submissions.

Ethical Duties of Authors

Authors:

Originality and Acknowledgment

All manuscripts must be original and must properly acknowledge the intellectual contributions of others. Plagiarism or self-plagiarism, including submission of substantially similar content to multiple journals, is strictly prohibited.

Authorship and Correspondence

Accurate details of all authors, including their institutional affiliations, must be provided. One author shall act as the corresponding author and handle all communications with the editorial team, including queries about originality or data sources.

Duplicate Submissions

Manuscripts submitted to management stream must not be under review or consideration by any other journal or publisher at the same time.

Copyright Transfer

Upon acceptance, authors must submit a duly signed Copyright Transfer Form, assigning publication rights to the Management Stream.

Research Integrity and Accuracy

Authors must present truthful, evidence-based findings. Fabrication, falsification, or selective omission of data is unacceptable and constitutes academic misconduct.

Cooperation and Corrections

Authors must cooperate with editors and reviewers, providing additional information or clarifications when requested. If any significant errors are discovered post-publication, authors are required to notify the editorial office promptly for corrections or retractions.

Ethical Compliance

For research involving human participants, surveys, or organizational data, authors must confirm that necessary ethical approvals or permissions were obtained from relevant institutions and must clearly mention this in the manuscript.

Permissions for Third-Party Content

Authors must secure permission for any reproduced materials such as figures, tables, or excerpts, and submit proof of authorization during submission.

Ethical Duties of Editors

Editors of Management Stream shall;

Uphold fairness, transparency, and academic integrity throughout the editorial and review process.

Ensure publication of original, well-researched, and relevant contributions that advance management knowledge and practice.

Maintain confidentiality regarding all manuscripts under review.

Make editorial decisions solely on scholarly merit, free from personal or institutional bias.

Communicate editorial decisions clearly, with justifiable reasoning.

Ensure all published content complies with ethical, academic, and legal standards.

Ethical Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers of Management Stream shall;

Maintain confidentiality regarding all assigned manuscripts.

Accept review assignments only within their areas of expertise to ensure fair and competent evaluation.

Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback aimed at improving manuscript quality.

Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting a review.

Refrain from using unpublished material for personal or professional gain.

Commitment to Ethical Publication

The Management Stream shall;

Employ credible plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin or Urkund for manuscript screening.

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest. Non-disclosure may result in rejection or action as per COPE guidelines.

Investigate allegations of misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, falsification, or authorship disputes) impartially and promptly.

Retract or issue corrections for any publication found to contain unethical or erroneous material, accompanied by an official statement.

Encourage responsible scholarship and uphold academic freedom, integrity, and accountability in research.

The Management Stream follows the ethical principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to fostering transparency, credibility, and excellence in management research.
